In the south of Germany, teddy bear artist Elke Clarus has been making teddy bears since 1998. A few years earlier she had found her cherished childhood teddy bear, which awakened a lost love. Determined to discover the mystique that unites people around the world to teddy bears she first became a collector, then an artist. Elke Clarus is absolutely certain her bears are more than pieces of art; they give comfort, security and joy!
Horst is a Cognac color, German string mohair bear with black glass eyes, embroidered nose and sculpted cashmere paws. Hand-filled with sheep's wool and plastic pellets. A hand-made scarf is around his neck. Fully jointed.
